Current bid: $150.00
On July 24, 2001, emo stalwarts Jimmy Eat World released Bleed American. The band’s fourth full-length album (later renamed Jimmy Eat World after the September 11 attacks that same year) catapulted Jimmy Eat World into mainstream consciousness. Not only was the breakout record privy to oodles of critical acclaim, it was also a commercial success on the wings of hit singles like “The Middle” and “Sweetness.” To this point, the album has sold nearly two million units. Once sales crossed the one-million threshold, Bleed American became a RIAA Certified Platinum Record.
