You may remember seeing a customized car last year on social media that doubled as an entire sit-down setup for Korean barbecue. That was from chef Chris Oh, who is offering up his invention for rent right now, as long as you plan on using it in Los Angeles.
Oh’s team converted a Scion xB into a rear motorized barbecue table at an ideal sitting height, along with a speaker system and television, and placed a grill in the center. Essentially, it’s a Korean barbecue party you can take anywhere. Oh charges $650 for the rental, which includes two bottles of soju, two bottles of Korean beer, plenty of banchan, and four pounds of one kind of meat, such as galbi short rib, bulgogi, or a gochujang honey-glazed pork belly. Ordering information is on Biite.
