Fireworks are the big attraction at Harrisburg’s Fourth of July celebration.
But before they blast off, you’ll want to grab a bite to eat. This year more than three dozen food vendors will line Riverfront Park from 3-9 p.m. on July 4 as part of the city’s annual Food Trucks & Fireworks.
The event also encompasses live music, a wine garden, kids activities and what the city is billing as “the largest fireworks display in central Pa.” Fireworks will launch at 9:15 p.m. from City Island.
It’s promising to be a big celebration, especially after last year’s festivities were stripped down due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, although fireworks and food trucks were still present.
